Taskonaklar

Taskonaklar is a boutique cave hotel located in Uchisar with wonderful views overlooking Cappadocia’s Pigeon Valley. One of the best places from which to watch the hot-air balloons float into the dawn sky, Taskonaklar is a family-owned and operated property with just 25 comfortable rooms, which are divided into stone rooms and cave rooms.

Each guestroom is unique and individually decorated in a local style. Some rooms have features that include stone archways and atmospheric fireplaces, while others have rough stone walls that have been hewn into the living rock. Within the range of Taskonaklar Hotel‘s suites is a two-bedroom and two-bathroom family suite. Other suites have individual attributes that may include a large bathroom, an outdoor terrace, a jacuzzi, a hot tub, and views of the breathtaking Cappadocian landscape.

Dining is available at Moniq restaurant, where Cappadocian cuisine is served. A hotel bar is also available. While leisure facilities are limited at Taskonaklar hotel (there is no pool or spa), the property can arrange several special experiences that include a candle-lit cave dinner, a sunset picnic with private set-up, and a private sunrise breakfast accompanied by the sight of scores of hot-air balloons rising into the early morning sky.

It should be noted that as Taskonaklar is located on a hillside, guests must be prepared to negotiate steps.
