Turkish Odyssey is a privately guided journey showcasing Anatolia’s astonishing natural beauty along with some of its most remarkable classical sites – including the incredible tomb-sanctuary of Nemrut Dagi in the eastern Taurus Mountains. From Cappadocia to Ephesus, Pamukkale and Bodrum, the succession of picture postcard locations that are seen on the Turkish Odyssey tour is a veritable roll call of Turkiye’s star attractions.

Starting in Istanbul, you will discover the awe-inspiring architectural and cultural legacy of this former imperial capital where it is said the Orient and the Occident collide. Then, fly east to Malatya and ascend on foot to the remote tumulus-sanctuary of Antiochus of Commagene at Nemrut Dagi. Cappadocia’s extraordinary volcanic scenery with its fantastic towering ‘fairy-chimneys’ will be your next destination before flying to Izmir and discovering Ephesus – one of the finest ancient cities in the world.

A journey inland will then bring you to the fabulous and lesser-known site of Aphrodisias with its amazing classical sculpture and onto Pamukkale’s famed cotton-white travertine terraces before the Turkish Odyssey tour concludes with some time at leisure in the chic resort town of Bodrum on the Aegean Sea.
