This privately guided and chauffeured journey starts in the cosmopolitan Azeri capital of Baku, where the UNESCO-listed Old City stands in striking contrast to Zaha Hadid’s celebrated Heydar Aliyev Centre. Next, discover the otherworldly bubbling mud volcanoes and prehistoric rock art of Gobustan, before heading west to the tranquil shores of Lake Goygol and the historic city of Ganja.

Then, continue to the former Silk Road outpost of Sheki, celebrated for its modest yet beautiful Khan’s Palace, before venturing into the Greater Caucasus. Here, explore the remote mountain village of Khinaliq – one of the region’s oldest continuously inhabited settlements, where local folklore holds the people to be direct descendants of Noah.

Nearby, in Quba, meet the remarkable Mountain Jewish community of Red Village before enjoying scenic walks through the Instagrammable Candy Cane Mountains on your return journey to Baku, where your Classic Azerbaijan private tour concludes.
