Molouky Dahabiya

The Molouky Dahabiya has a rich Egyptian-style interior décor that evokes thoughts of the 1001 Arabian Nights. One of the finest sailing boats available for private charter on the Nile, the 50-metre-long lateen-sailed Molouky Dahabiya combines modern luxuries with relaxed privacy. Offering five- and seven-night cruises between Luxor and Aswan (and vice versa), a cruise aboard the Molouky will reveal the magical natural beauty and fabulous antiquities for which Egypt is justly famous.

Accommodation on board is in six spacious contemporary Middle Eastern-styled suites (22 sqm). Located on the Main Deck, the wood-panelled suites are among the most comfortable available on the Nile and are equipped with tiled bathrooms, large panoramic windows, the finest quality linens, individual climate control, mini-bars, safety deposit box, hairdryer, in-room music system, and interactive television. The main deck is also the location of the spacious combined dining and lounge area, which has a table, chairs, and comfortable sofas.

While sailing on the Nile, guests typically spend much of their time on the Molouky’s split-level shaded sundeck. A Jacuzzi and sunbeds are located on the Lower Sundeck, while on the Upper Sundeck, there is a bar and ample seating. Meals aboard the Molouky are always an event to look forward to and are served either in the dining room or, if the weather permits, on deck. It should be noted that alcohol is not served due to licensing restrictions. Guests are welcome to bring their own and will be provided with mixers and ice at no additional charge. When winds are light, the Molouky will be pulled by a tugboat.
