Hadeel Dahabiya

The twin-masted Hadeel Dahabiya combines the classic lines of a traditional Nile sailing boat with stylish dark wood-panelled interiors and elegant furnishings to give it a polished colonial look. Available for five-, six- and seven-night private charters on the Nile, the Hadeel Dahabiya offers superior levels of comfort and will take you on a gentle journey along the River Nile, enabling you to experience the Nile that is off the tourist radar, taste local food, interact with the people and visit Egyptian temples without the crowds.

Sightseeing from the dahabiya is conducted by the resident onboard Egyptologist guide and will include immersive experiences as well as temples that are omitted by the larger Nile Cruises. While sailing, guests will spend much of their time on the Hadeel’s partially shaded split-level sundeck, where they can lounge on the comfortable seating while listening to the sound of the water lapping the hull and gazing at the breathtaking Nile scenery. An onboard Jacuzzi is a notable feature of the Hadeel that is especially welcome during warmer weather.

Beneath the sundeck are the Hadeel’s eight air-conditioned en suite cabins (3.2m x4.25m) and a lounge with seating. All cabins have been tastefully decorated with local textiles and have large windows and wooden flooring. Bathrooms are compact and equipped with w/c, washbasin and shower. A daily highlight of life aboard the Hadeel occurs during mealtimes when the talented onboard Chef serves up a selection of mouthwatering Egyptian and International dishes. Alcohol is not sold aboard the Hadeel Dahabiya, but you are welcome to bring your own drinks. Guests should be aware that the Hadeel will be towed by a tug when winds are light.
