Neeralaya, affectionately known as the little house by the river, is a hidden gem and the perfect place to rest before setting off on an exhilarating trans-Himalayan journey to Ladakh. Located on the banks of the gurgling Beas River, this tranquil retreat is set amidst lush gardens punctuated with numerous natural alcoves and blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
Built using recycled timber, stone and slate, Neeralaya offers accommodation in ten spacious villas and rooms created using traditional techniques. All rooms feature wooden flooring, a fireplace, and lovely views of the gardens, whilst some villas also have access to a private balcony or a garden. At Neeralaya, home-cooked meals are prepared using vegetables and herbs picked from the garden and poultry raised on the property. Activities on offer include rafting on the Beas, fishing trips, guided walks through apple orchards and visits to local temples.
