The house’s traditional interiors have been restored in a distressed-chic style to give Beit Douma a lived-in look and feature vaulted wooden ceilings, tall arched windows, curios and antiques. Outside there is a playing fountain together with a spacious terrace and gardens where you can sit back and enjoy the tranquillity of your surroundings.

Guests at Beit Douma can be assured a home away from home experience and are looked after by a warm and welcoming host and her team. The property’s six attractively decorated simple ensuite rooms all have comfortable beds, fine linens and organic bathroom amenities. Each morning a traditional breakfast with produce from the kitchen garden is served on the terrace or under the shade of a tree. In the evenings, dining is a communal, social occasion around Beit Douma’s main dining table.

There is also a library filled with books and a selection of board games. If you feel peckish during the day, delicious home-baked cakes, biscuits, fruits, and nuts are readily available.
