The tour starts at the heart of Colombo with a fascinating walk through the historic Fort District and the teeming Pettah Bazaar. Here, conquer the majestic rapids on the Kelani River before floating lazily downriver and then combine a trek through forested hills to the pre-historic Belilena Caves with a picnic lunch and a refreshing swim in a natural rock pool.
Next, climb nearly 5,500 steps under a star-lit sky to watch the sunrise from the summit of Adam’s Peak – Sri Lanka’s sacred mountain. Then, embark on a scenic train ride to Sri Lanka’s southern highlands, which is a convenient base to trek to Bambarakanda Falls*- Sri Lanka’s tallest waterfall.
