Luxor Dahabiya

The elegant twin-masted Luxor Dahabiya Nile cruise has a pleasing white and neutral-coloured interior and resembles the boats used by pashas and Grand Tourists in the 19th Century on their leisurely journeys through Egypt. This comfortable wooden dahabiya should be considered simple in terms of its appointment and has one suite and four cabins. An outdoor Jacuzzi makes the Luxor Dahabiya stand out from others in its class. Luxor Dahabiya can be privately chartered to take you and a small group of fellow travellers along the Nile, visiting small islands, local villages and sites often missed by the larger Nile cruises.

Cabins onboard have large windows and are air-conditioned. Each one has an ensuite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and private WC. Two of the cabins have a double bed, and two of the cabins come with twin beds (these can be pushed together if required). The spacious suite at the stern of the Luxor dahabiya has a four-poster bed and a private balcony with outdoor seating. While cruising slowly along the Nile the spacious shaded sundeck is where you will spend most of your time. The sundeck is appointed with sofas and chairs and has a dining table where you can enjoy al fresco meals with a view. This is also the location of the Jacuzzi.

Below deck, the guest cabins lead off from a central corridor, and you will find the lounge and reception area, which has sofas, tables, and a small library. Luxor Dahabiya is offered on a full board basis. Both Egyptian and International dishes are freshly prepared daily by the Chef. In the evening, dinners are served on deck by candlelight under the stars or on an island in the middle of palm trees. Soft drinks, beer, local wine and spirits are available for purchase onboard. Wi-Fi is available. Guests should be aware that when the wind is weak, Luxor Dahabiya is pulled by a tug.
