Tour Overview
TEL AVIV • AKKO • THE GALILEE • GOLAN HEIGHTS • NAZARETH • BETHLEHEM • JERUSALEM
Israel: The Promised Land is a private tour designed for the Christian visitor with a keen interest in visiting the Holy Land’s New Testament sites as well as discovering cultural highlights of Roman, Crusader, Arab and Jewish interest.
Considered one of the most holy places on Earth, Israel is extraordinarily rich in culture. It is a place where the ancient hills and stones literally ‘speak’ to you with tales of Old Testament prophets and disciples spreading the good news.
Time on the tour has been dedicated to exploring the sites of Christ’s early ministry in the Upper and Lower Galilee, where, among other places, you will see Capernaum, where St. Peter once lived, Mount Tabor (site of the Transfiguration of Christ), and Nazareth’s Basilica of the Annunciation.
The keystone of this Israel: The Promised Land tour is a four-night stay in the Holy City of Jerusalem with two days dedicated to the magical Old City. Here you can admire the views from the Mount of Olives, walk the Palm Sunday Road to the Gardens of Gethsemane, visit the Stations of the Cross, and gaze at the Mount of Golgotha. Visits to Ein Kerem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem complete our Israel: The Promised Land experience.
