Taj Usha Kiran Palace

Originally built as a royal guesthouse to host the Prince of Wales (later King George V), the gracious Usha Kiran Palace later became the private residence of the Gwalior royal family until it was transformed into a hotel in the late 1980s.

This immaculately restored heritage hotel is set amongst nine acres of landscaped lawns and manicured gardens and is noted for its striking stone carvings and delicate filigree work. It offers accommodation in 40 rooms, villas and suites designed in keeping with its rich history and set overlooking the Gwalior Fort or the hotel’s lush gardens.
