The lodge provides an attractive, simple standard of accommodation powered by solar energy. The atmosphere is unique at night when the rooms and lodge are bathed in the light of a multitude of flickering candles. The 26 simple ensuite rooms all have private terraces with pleasant views of the surrounding countryside. Feynan Ecolodge strives to acquire fresh produce and ingredients from nearby farms as part of its sustainability commitment. The lodge serves freshly baked flatbread, known as shraak in Arabic, made by a Bedouin woman from the local community. She uses a traditional half-moon-shaped oven called a saj to bake the bread daily.
