The Fairouz El Nil dahabiyas invite you to step back in time and experience the magic of a Nile cruise through five thousand years of Egyptian history. Each of Fairouz El Nil’s three upscale twin-masted dahabiyas is identical and can be chartered privately or booked on a shared basis.

Sailing from Luxor to Aswan (5 nights) or back to your point of embarkation (7 nights), the dahabiyas are reminiscent of the stylish vessels that once took pashas through the timeless landscapes of Upper Egypt in the 19th century. Each Fairouz El Nil dahabiya has six deluxe cabins, all of which come with panoramic windows, adjustable air-conditioning, a minibar, a safety deposit box and an ensuite private bathroom with shower, washbasin and w/c. At 16 square meters in area, the guest cabins are noticeably larger than is typical on a dahabiya.

On board, guests will discover elegant traditional décor combined with modern touches. Colourful oriental carpets grace the floors, antique-style lighting illuminates the interiors, tables are set with elegant Chinaware, and soothing dark-wood panelled walls are hung with black-and-white photographs. A shaded split-level sundeck appointed with tables and comfy sofas runs along the top of each Fairouz El Nil dahabiya. This is the perfect place to unwind or perhaps enjoy a drink from the bar as the breathtaking Nile scenery glides by effortlessly before you.

Below deck, guests will find the spacious lounge with its small library, the dining area and guestrooms. Meals served by the charming crew consist of tasty Egyptian and international dishes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available aboard all three of the Fairouz El Nil dahabiyas.
