Boutique hotel in a 19th-century bohemian-style townhouse
Communal Hotel Sololaki is a delightful boutique hotel in a 19th-century bohemian-style townhouse. Located in a historic neighbourhood in the heart of Tbilisi, the Communal Hotel Sololaki is surrounded by art nouveau buildings, cosy bars and trendy restaurants. The hotel also has convenient access to both the historic Old Town and lively Rustaveli Avenue. It is full of character and has taken inspiration from the communal lifestyle of 19th-century Georgians who would gather with their neighbours to socialise, relax, celebrate, and feast.
All 13 individually designed rooms and suites at Communal Hotel Sololaki feature high ceilings, bold colour schemes, original parquet flooring and large windows that flood the rooms with natural light. The entry-level Cozy Rooms are, as the name goes, relatively small (17 sqm), and we recommend Large Rooms (23 sqm) for all our guests at this hotel.
The Suites offer more space. While the Balcony Suite features a private balcony overlooking the adjoining Kojori Street, the Dreamy Suite stands out with its Victorian-style free-standing claw-foot bathtub. The Apartment, with its retro kitchenette, handmade Georgian rugs, dining area, and oversized bathroom, is ideal for those looking for an extended stay in Tbilisi.
The breakfast room is a lively space where guests can socialise and hang out while enjoying fresh, seasonal, and organic produce. The menu includes traditional Georgian dishes and a limited choice of international delicacies, all made fresh daily.
