Al Koot Heritage Hotel is located within an attractive historic building in central Al Hofuf. It is within walking distance from the landmark Ibrahim Palace and 500 metres from the famed Qasariyah bazaar.
The architecture of this boutique hotel is typical of that found in the 19th century in the Eastern Province and reminiscent of a Moroccan Riad. Heavy wooden doors open onto the property’s focal point, a beautiful central courtyard surrounded by elegant arcades on two stories. The courtyard’s marble floor is strewn with carpets, while the chairs are decorated with colourful Saudi Sadu work. Antiques are displayed on the walls, creating a welcoming and homely atmosphere at the property. Stairs lead up to the second level, where the Al Koot Heritage Hotel’s seven simple, traditionally decorated guestrooms are located. As is common in a converted heritage building, each bedroom is different, but all rooms have ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, and Wi-Fi.
