Desert Rock Resort

Set in a hidden valley, Desert Rock Resort is an uber-luxury eco-resort that has been artfully integrated into the mountainside while preserving the rock’s original silhouette. When designing the resort, the architects strove to build with the land and not on it, thereby amplifying its natural beauty. Sustainable considerations have underpinned the entire planning and design process with the resort specifically engineered to reduce energy consumption and regenerate native vegetation.

Accommodation is in 50 villas and 10 rooms that include ground-level dwellings, crevice hotel suites midway up the ridge, and a select number of excavated rooms built within the rock itself. All rooms offer undisrupted views so that guests can fully appreciate the dramatic desert landscape below.

State-of-the-art facilities at the property include a world-class spa and fitness centre.
