Samode Haveli

Samode Haveli is an outstanding traditional-style 19th-century mansion that was originally the private residence of the rulers of Samode. Lying in the heart of Jaipur, this urban oasis is built in Indo-Saracenic style and is set amongst a leafy garden with pools, fountains, and intimate courtyards. There are 39 uniquely designed rooms and suites, each belonging to a different period and built by previous rulers of Samode.

The rooms and suites, which were once private royal apartments, retain their distinctive old-world charm and are elegantly decorated in traditional style with period-style furniture, painted arches, and family portraits, while the present-day owners have further enhanced the ambience and experience by bringing them up-to-date with essential modern conveniences and sparkling ensuite bathrooms. The magnificent Sheesh Mahal Suites have virtually every inch of the room’s ceilings and walls covered in mirror-work and hand-painted frescoes and are undoubtedly the best rooms in the house.

At Samode Haveli, the beautifully decorated dining room with its huge chandeliers and murals offers a selection of Rajasthani, Indian and Continental cuisine. Enjoying alfresco dinners in the central courtyard is possible during the warmer months. The hotel also arranges special private dinners upon request. Leisure facilities at the Samode Haveli include a large outdoor swimming pool, health club and a spa offering a range of massages to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the historic landmarks and buildings of the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur.
