Comprising of four lovingly restored 19th century stone houses located in a picturesque Ottoman village in the hills above Ephesus, the award winning Sirince Terrace Houses are the creation of Anglo-Turkish couple Charlotte and Omer Samli. Each house is unique, and in keeping with Turkey’s strict preservation laws, the buildings have remained true to their original quirky design. Reclaimed marble basins, wrought iron chandeliers, Chinese lanterns, claw-footed bathtubs, and strings of drying red peppers in the kitchens add considerably to the rustic charm of the houses, while Omer and Charlotte bring a personal touch to atmosphere and are often on hand to give recommendations for local excursions, restaurants and shopping. Wi-Fi is available in all four houses. Dining is offered at the Terrace Café which is open all day during the spring and summer months. A delicious breakfast made from local produce is served on the terrace, while light lunches and snacks are available throughout the day. Candlelit dinners can be provided if booked in advance. A stay at the Sirince Terrace Houses offers the enticing opportunity to sample traditional village living, there isn’t a swimming pool or spa, but you will be able to enjoy strolls through the narrow lanes of Sirnce, and along the paths in the surrounding peach and olive groves, sample sensational home-style cooking, and sit back and enjoy the marvellous views from the terrace.
