Nisanyan Evleri
Hotel category
Superior
Overlooking olive groves and vineyards above charming Sirince village, Nisanyan Evleri is comprised of two traditional 19th century mansions, along with several houses and cottages that have been lovingly restored by one of Turkey’s leading writers, Sevan Nisanyan. With five rooms, The Inn is the nearest thing Nisanyan Evleri has to a traditional hotel, though it has more of the feel of a comfortable private home. At The Inn, interiors are decorated with antique furniture and guests are welcome to roam into the kitchen and help themselves to the locally produced apricot brandy or take some biscuits from the cupboard. A cozy library is the perfect spot to while away an afternoon, alternatively you might be drawn to admire the stunning views over Sirince from the terrace, or tempted to experience the hammam. There are no televisions at The Inn but complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Traditional meals are offered at The Inn’s restaurant. Nisyan Evleri’s marble lined pool is set in a wooded clearing a six minute (steep uphill) walk from The Inn and is open between May and October. Close to the pool is Nisanyan Evleri’s five room Tower-House which faces a hidden valley rather than Sirince village. The rooms here are larger and even more homely than those at The Inn. Guests at the Tower House are served breakfast 150m away at the cottages. It’s a steep 250m walk down to Nisanyan Evleri’s The Inn.
