Gullu Konaklari

Located within the unspoiled traditional village of Sirince, in the verdant hills above Ephesus, the historic Gullu Konaklari is a stylish boutique hotel named after the roses for which the region is famous. The thirteen comfortable rooms forming Gullu Konaklari are located within two restored hundred year old mansions which are set amongst beautiful aromatic gardens overlooking the Sirince Valley. Each attractive air-conditioned room (c35 sqm) has wooden floors and is decorated in a traditional Turkish style. Original architectural details including: working fireplaces, old Turkish tiles, exposed stonework, and atmospheric wooden beams, have been carefully preserved throughout the property. Bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs and separate walkin showers along with luxurious locally sourced amenities. Gullu Konaklari’s excellent onsite restaurant serves a range of international cuisine infused with regional accents as well as local delicacies. During the warmer months meals are served al fresco under a white pavilion on the hotel’s beautiful terrace. At this time it is also possible to enjoy long evenings or lazy afternoons relaxing outside on the hotel’s comfortable rattan sofas and chairs. A particular delight while staying at Gullu Konaklari is being able to explore the winding cobbled alleys, small shops, and rustic cafes and restaurants of Sirince village. The town’s charming small square is a minute’s walk from the hotel.
