Within the attractive paved lanes of Old Town Antalya (Kaleici), the charming Tuvana Hotel is full of character and period charm. In 2010 the Tuvana Hotel was awarded: “The Most Romantic Boutique Hotel of the World”, and in our opinion, the property is the best pick of Anatalya’s boutique hotels. At the heart of the Tuvana’s six listed houses is the 18th century mansion built by Ottoman officer Abdi Effendi which looks out over an exotic garden with orange, banana, plum and pomegranate trees as well as an inviting swimming-pool (seasonal). Across a quiet lane is a peaceful shaded courtyard and sitting area. This is also the beautiful setting for the outside seating of the Tuvana Hotel’s excellent fine dining restaurant Seraser during the summer months. Excellent Turkish cuisine is served at the hotel’s Kaftan restaurant. Accommodation at the Tuvana Hotel is in 46 high quality period rooms all of which are equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar, DVD player, and safe box. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hotel. Guests should be aware that a local mosque provides an authentic Oriental morning wake up call for all but the soundest of sleepers!
