Kalu’s Hideaway

Set among 5 acres of tropical gardens, Kalus Hideaway is a modest wildlife lodge that is conveniently located for visiting Uda Walawe National Park. Each of the 14 rooms and suites are simply furnished with essential modern conveniences including air-conditioning and ensuite facilities. Superior rooms are located in the main building that also houses the reception and the restaurant, while the chalets are in a separate block and have either a private balcony or terrace. The Deluxe rooms and Suite, which make up another block, are set closer to the swimming pool and overlook the gardens. The restaurant at Kalus serves a combination of traditional Sri Lankan and Western cuisine. Other facilities at Kalu’s Hideaway include a bar, outdoor swimming pool, indoor games room, and a rustic wattle and daub Spa that offers relaxing massages.
