Rooms either face the tropical gardens or have panoramic sea views. The higher the category of the room, the more spacious they are, and nearer to the sea. The Banyan Tree Bungalow is set on the edge of the cliff with a private sea facing sit-out, while the Octagon – a traditional Keralan style stone house with private sun deck - offers greater privacy and ideal for honeymooners. Between the Café Samsara, an all-day dining restaurant and the Essence, a specialty restaurant set on a cliff, guests at the Niraamaya Surya Samudra have a choice of delectable cuisine including traditional Keralan, Oriental and Western dishes. Leisure facilities at the Niraamaya Surya Samudra include an outdoor pool, a beachfront bar serving imaginative cocktails, beer and wine, an Ayurveda centre and a library. Guests staying at Niraamaya Surya Samudra can access the secluded beach below via a series of steep steps; however, this may not be possible for those with mobility issues.
