Barefoot at Havelock is a rustic, eco-friendly hideaway which enjoys a secluded setting on Havelock Island in the remote Andaman Islands. Accommodation comprises of 19 elegantly designed, simply furnished, environmentally sensitive cottages and villas that are built on stilts with hardwood walls, thatched roofs and predominantly indigenous, natural materials. While some cottages are air-conditioned, others are fan-cooled. In addition to the cottages and villas, there are also 6 simply furnished air-conditioned tents with ensuite facilities. For families travelling with children, the fan-cooled Duplex Cottage with a mezzanine floor is ideal, as it can accommodate up to 4 people. Facilities include a restaurant that serves Indian and a selection of Thai and Continental cuisine; a lounge bar stocked with Indian wines, beers and spirits and an Ayurvedic wellness centre that offers relaxing massages and rejuvenation therapies.
