Abha Palace Hotel

Abha Palace Hotel is sited a short drive from Abha city centre overlooking Lake Saad. This five-star property is starting to show its age but is still considered to be the best address in town. On arrival you’ll be greeted by an impressive curved glass entrance behind which lies the hotel’s impressive marble and chrome clad atrium with its two eye-catching internal glass lifts. The property’s 136 well-appointed ensuite guestrooms and suites are attractively decorated and have wooden floors. Rooms face either the city or the lake and mountain and have ensuite bathrooms, writing desks, electronic safe, mini-fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Dining with a view can be enjoyed at the excellent Nahran Restaurant which is located on the top-floor of the Abha Palace Hotel and offers both buffet and a la carte dining. At the lobby level, the Palm Court Coffee Lounge is popular with locals and serves a range of snacks and refreshing beverages. There is a male-only Health Club with an in-door swimming pool, treatment rooms, gym, bowling alley, sauna and table tennis tables. A short walk from the property will take guests down to the lake shore where you’ll find coffee-shops and a (seasonal) fun fair. Guests at Abha Palace Hotel should be aware the cable-car connecting the property with Jebel Zerrah doesn’t operate outside the summer season and major Saudi holidays.
