Saudi Explorer: Deserts & Volcanoes is an adventure through one of the world’s last untamed frontiers that will reveal some of the most inhospitable and wild landscapes on Earth. From the Edge of the World, to the blood red sands of Jabal Bajdah, and the dramatic canyon of Wadi Al Disah where the giant columns of rock are framed by palm trees; this privately guided Saudi Arabia tour delivers jaw dropping panoramas at nearly every turn. As your 4WD adventure progresses you’ll tackle several sectors of the Dakar Rally; experience an electrifying dune buggy ride through Al Ula’s striking landscapes; and hike the Al-Fil trail through a desert of vast limestone monoliths. Then, continue to the Harrat Khaybar, to explore the fabulous volcanic landscape that is swathed in lava flows and studded by white and black volcanoes. On arrival, gaze on the dark cone of Jabal Qidr; admire the ‘jellyfish’ volcano of Jabal Abyiad; and climb the extinct white volcano of Jabal Baydah. The Saudi Explorer: Deserts & Volcanoes tour then travels south by High Speed train to Jeddah where the journey concludes overlooking the Red Sea.

Day 1 Arrive Riyadh International Airport, Saudi Arabia. Meet and private transfer to your hotel. 2 nights Riyadh Rosh Rayhaan by Rotana
Day 2 Visit the Red Dunes for an ATV adventure, then drive out to the dramatic Tuwaiq escarpment and watch sunset from the Edge of the World.
Day 3 Sightseeing in Riyadh including the historic Masmak Fort, Souq Al Zal and the Kingdom Centre. Fly to Tabuk.    3 nights Tabuk Grand Millennium Tabuk
Day 4 Hike through the deep chasm of Wadi Tayyib Al Ism prior to discovering the Springs of Moses and the tombs of ancient Midian.
Day 5 Drive up Jabel Lawz, a mountain some believe to be the ‘real’ Mt. Sinai, and explore the striking red sands of Wadi Bajdah on a 4WD adventure.
Day 6 Travel to scenic Wadi Al Disah, where the perpendicular cliffs are framed by palm trees and pools of water, then continue to Al Ula. 2 nights Al Ula Shaden MGallery Al Ula
Day 7 Explore the magical scenery of Al Ula by Dune Buggy and hike the Al Fil trail. After lunch on a date farm discover the stunning tombs of ancient Hegra.
