Movenpick Petra

The Movenpick Resort is the best address in Petra and is a good 4 star hotel. It benefits from a superb location within easy walking distance of the entrance to the historic site. The 183 rooms and suites are equipped with modern conveniences including air-conditioning / heating, satellite television, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and mini bar. Dining is offered at a choice of two venues, the beautifully decorated a la carte Al Iwan restaurant, or Al Saraya which offers extensive buffets. Al Maqaad is the hotel bar and is beautifully decorated in a Damascene style. Additional facilities include a small library containing a selection of books about Petra, a steam bath, gym, and wellness centre with out-door pool. Please note that the swimming pool is empty during the cooler months.
