Movenpick Nabatean Castle

Perched at an altitude of 1400 metres and offering breathtaking views of the Rift valley, Movenpick Nabatean Castle sports a fortress-style façade and is conveniently located to discover the ancient ‘Red Rose City’ of Petra. Reopened after extensive renovations in 2018, this four-star hotel offers accommodation in 90 comfortably furnished rooms that are decorated in warm, neutral colours and Jordanian artworks. Whilst the Superior Rooms feature a Juliet Balcony, the Classic Rooms come with a private balcony and offer panoramic views of the distant hills. At Movenpick Nabatean Castle, all three meals are served at Al Madafa, a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves Jordanian specialities as well as international cuisine and for pre-dinner drinks guests should head to the redesigned Al Nadeem’s bar and terrace, which is set overlooking Jebel Aroun – the area’s highest peak and offers striking views at sunset. Other facilities at Movenpick Nabatean Castle include an indoor heated lap pool and a well-equipped gym. Guests should be aware that Movenpick Nabatean Castle is about 15 minutes by car from the Petra Visitors Centre.
