Hotel Montefiore

An oasis of style, service, intimacy and luxury, the Hotel Montefiore is a boutique property housed within a meticulously restored 1920’s Bauhaus-style building in the heart of Tel Aviv. Each of the twelve luxurious and beautifully designed rooms is unique. All rooms have state of the art furnishings, and are characterised by high-ceilings, tall windows and wooden floors. The walls are decorated with contemporary Israeli art. Each room presents the work of one young and emerging artist (as do the hotel corridors and public spaces) and has a large library, containing books in various languages, occupying one wall. Bathrooms are crafted in sleek black marble and feature bath products that have been developed exclusively for the hotel. Guests staying at the Hotel Montefiore have access to a valet service, a lobby library, and the hotel’s stylish and hip Vietnamese inspired restaurant which pulls in trendy locals and the well-to-do. The Montefiore’s bar offers afternoon cocktails and heats up at night when Tel Aviv’s in-crowd takes over. Gym access is available nearby. It should be noted that the lively atmosphere in the restaurant and bar (especially at weekends) and lack of alternative public areas to relax mean that the Hotel Montefiore isn’t suitable for all.
