The Dad Hotel is located in a historic house dating from the early part of the 20th century and is within the historic centre of Yazd. The facade of the hotel facing the street is unprepossessing, but on entering the property, one is taken straight into back into Persia’s past. The grand public areas are impressive and have been lovingly and sympathetically restored following a extensive restoration. Original features include: high ceilings, domes, vaults, casements and arcades, all of which has been finished in the attractive local decorative style. The Dad Hotel offers 54 simple, plain, ensuite rooms spread across two levels surrounding the property’s central courtyard. Rooms are all air-conditioned and equipped with mini-fridge and wireless internet access. Facilities at the Dad Hotel include an indoor swimming pool (men and women on alternate days), sauna, Jacuzzi, currency exchange facilities, and restaurant serving Persian cuisine.
