Parsian Kowsar Hotel
Hotel category
Superior
Overlooking the Zayandeh River and the historic Sio-Se Pol Bridge, a short walk from the stunning architecture of Naghsh-e Jahan Square, the Parsian Kowsar Hotel is considered to be one of Isfahan’s best hotels. Formerly a Sheraton, the property was built in the 1970s and is surrounded by extensive gardens but now has a decided dated feel to it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but uninspiring and spread between an old and a new block. All accommodation is air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi (chargeable), mini-fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, satellite television, and safety deposit box. The best rooms have balconies overlooking the Zayandeh River. Leisure facilities include a swimming-pool (men only), and a Health Club with Jacuzzi and gym. The Kowsar Hotel has a Tea House located in the gardens, a pleasant terraced café area, and a choice of two restaurants – one of which is located on the top floor of the property and offers fine river views. Credit Cards are not accepted.
