The country is known for its incredible historic sites – including the ‘rose-red’ city of Petra - ; the stunning beauty of the desert; and the luxury of its Dead Sea hotels. To ensure the holiday is a success for all, special family focused activities have been arranged. Thus on arrival at Jerash, you will see a Roman Army and Gladiatorial performance in the Hippodrome; while in Amman you visit the Royal Automobile Museum and see cars belonging to the late King Hussein; and in Petra you have the fun of helping to prepare a Jordanian meal. In addition to the cultural highlights, further excitement and adventure is offered in the form of a night camping under the stars and a desert jeep safari; the experience of floating in the salty waters of the Dead Sea; and the opportunity to rise in a hot-air balloon over the land Lawrence of Arabia described as: “Vast, echoing, and God-like”.

Subject to availability, this private tour can operate starting on any day of the week throughout the year. There are no set departures.

BMI (British Midland International) operates a daily service between London Heathrow and Amman. Flight times vary throughout the week.
