Sojourn in Persia is a private tour that showcases the stunning highlights of Iran. Accompanied by your private English speaking expert guide, the tour starts in the modern capital Tehran from where you fly south to Shiraz, a the city that has oft been sung of as the abode of nightingales and roses. Here, explore the bustling bazaar together with the city’s wonderful 18th century gardens, and pavilions, before plunging deep into Iran’s past and visiting the magnificent ancient sites of Persepolis, Naghsh-e-Rostam, and Pasargadae. Next continue to Isfahan, a city of incredible beauty with some of the most magnificent Islamic architecture on earth. Two full days have been dedicated to exploring Isfahan to ensure you have ample time to sightsee and enjoy your surroundings. The final leg of your tour will take you back to Tehran via Natanz and Kashan, the latter is a town that is considered the epitome of everything Persian. A private tour of Iran does require more advanced planning and preparation than most countries - but those willing to make the effort will be rewarded many times over and find a warm and hospitable land that is blissfully free from visitors.

• Private English speaking guide (Days 2 to 9).
• Services of Corinthian Travel’s representatives whilst in Iran.
• Bottled water in vehicle during transfers
• Porterage at hotels and airports (2 bags per person).

Price Excludes

• International flights (We can book your bmi flights from London – please ask for details).
• Travel insurance, visa fees.
• Any meals other than described in the itinerary.
• Gratuities for guide and driver.
• Sightseeing other than as described in the itinerary.
• Any drinks not referred to above.
• Items of a personal nature including telephone calls, laundry and room service.

Notes:

(i) All prices are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices do not include International flights, are on a per person basis, based on two people sharing a room, and a minimum group size of two. Single and sole traveller supplements will apply.

(ii) Ladies are required to conform with the local dress laws at all times in Iran. Please ask for details.

(iii) Iran is a ‘dry’ country. Alcohol is not legally available within Iran, nor is it permitted to import alcohol.

Subject to availability, this private tour can operate starting on any day of the week throughout the year. There are no set departures.

BMI (British Midland International) operates a daily service between London Heathrow (LHR) and Tehran (IKA).
