A cruise aboard the award winning Oberoi Zahra is the ideal choice if you are looking for a more leisurely Nile experience on a smaller boat, or wish to take advantage of the only full service spa afloat on the Nile. The stylish Oberoi Zahra is considered to be one of the most luxurious vessels on the River Nile and offers accommodation in 25 luxury cabins and 2 spacious suits, all of which are tastefully appointed with timber floors and elegant interiors. Onboard facilities include a swimming pool, gym theatre, cigar lounge, and boutique. The Zahra offers seven night cruises between Aswan and Luxor (and vice versa) allowing guests to leisurely discover five thousand years of Egyptian culture. To heighten your enjoyment, many special experiences are included throughout the journey including: visiting a number of lesser visited sites, entrance to the magnificent restricted tomb of Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings, and a private evening excursion to the stunning Temple of Dendera. Lots of time is set aside for relaxation, or is free to indulge in spa treatments. A notable feature of the Zahra cruise is that it departs one day later than the majority of ships enabling on-board guests to enjoy an emptier Nile. Complimenting the sites of Upper Egypt are an excursion by air to the great rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel and two full days to explore the sights of Cairo including: the pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and the sphinx. Private transfers are included throughout, as are private Egyptologist guides for sightseeing in Cairo. Excursions from the Oberoi Zahra Nile cruise and at Abu Simbel are on a shared basis.

The Oberoi Zahra Cruise programme is a private tour based around fixed Nile cruise sailing dates. The arrival (Sat) and departure dates (Wed) for the tour in / from Cairo are listed below. The Oberoi Zahra operates 7 night cruises from Aswan to Luxor (dates listed below in bold), and 7 night cruises from Luxor to Aswan (detailed itinerary available on request). The Zahra undergoes annual maintenance in the month of June.
